Yes, wages have been essentially stagnant for decades now, but it is also true that the average family is paying much more for technology than ever before. That’s right. Homeowners are now spending less on home decoration and renovation and more on technological devices and appliances. This is especially true with regard to entertainment. But let us return to the earlier question-is this a bad thing? Well, in our opinion, yes and no. It is not a bad thing that homeowners purchase appliances and gadgets that can make their lives easier and possibly even improve their job performance. We are talking specifically about mobile phones, computers, microwaves, etc. But when it comes to entertainment, it seems to us that there is an awful lot of waste. In all honesty, there are simply not enough hours in the day to watch hundreds of cable channels or movies on overpriced Blu-ray players.
