The world wide protocol adopted by Siemens for their GAMMA products is KNX (formerly known as EIB.) The Konnex UK association is part of a network of international Konnex associations.
I was one of the co-founders of the Konnex UK association, there are ten founder members, and these include six leading manufacturers and four system integrators.The organisation has the principal aim of promoting KNX as the recognised open internetworking communication standard for the control of building services applications within both residential and commercial buildings. The technology and services of all the Konnex UK members will be promoted by the association to help to raise the profile of the protocol and help to create more business opportunities and gain a larger share of the fast growing market for intelligent building products. |
