He is a twenty year veteran of the communication industry. He has been a VP for marketing, sales, services and technical divisions.

Major projects within Siminn include launching the following services: GSM, prepaid GSM, ISDN, ATM, MPLS, ADSL, DVB-C, IPTV and VoD. Responsible for building Siminn´s first call center and key account service.

He has an electrical engineering degree from the University of Iceland.

He has been an Icelandic representative in ACTS (Advanced Communication Technologies & Services) from 1994-1998, ACTS was an EU funded R&D programme.  Also he was a member of the governments select committee on the Information Society, Communication and Multimedia from 1995-1996.
